V-GARD Epoxy Overlay
The V-Gard Epoxy Overlay System offers superior wear and chemical resistance, providing optimal
protection around wet/dry feeders. It’s ideal for new or slightly worn slats. For areas with severe
wear, V-Krete is used to rebuild the zones and edges. V-Gard Epoxy Overlay is then added for
long-lasting durability. V-Gard ensures proper slat drainage, efficiently directing acids to the pit.
Typical Coverage: 30 sq. ft. per 1.5 gallons of 440LV Epoxy and 32 lbs. of Admix.
The V-Gard mix is a semi-self-leveling slurry that is easy to
trowel apply. It is immediately broadcast with Natural Silica
aggregate, creating a uniform, non-slip surface ideal for
livestock environments. With excellent wear and chemical
resistance, it can withstand harsh conditions for years while
maintaining cleanliness and sanitation.
Base Mix:
• 1.5-gallon 440LV Epoxy
• Plus 32 lbs. 440LV Admix
• Plus 30 – 50 lbs. of
440LV Broadcast
