The Good Family from Waterloo, New York wanted to grow their egg
business, so they partnered with Farmer Boy to expand their flock. They
settled on a cage-free layer barn 48' x 588' with Potters nests. They started
construction in November 2024 and finished in February 2025. The
barn equipment includes Lubing watering, a Cumberland chain feeding
system, Cumberland fans, a whole-house scraper with manure storage,
and cold storage for eggs with a truck dock. Now, they’re able to supply
many more customers with fresh, high-quality eggs. Farmer Boy thanks
the Good Family for the opportunity to collaborate on this project!
